We’re here for all stages of your pet’s life in Vancouver, WA. Being able to track the health of your pet from year to year is a valuable way to ensure their quality of life is as good as it can be. When you first bring your pet to us, we’ll establish a baseline for their health, provide vaccinations, and spay or neuter your pet if wanted. In the following years, we’ll design health care plans based on their age, lifestyle, and other factors. These annual examinations also give us a chance to track any changes in their diet, behavior, and other aspects of their life.

Annual exams are an important part of your pet’s ongoing care. During these appointments, we’ll perform a full nose-to-tail exam while checking eyes, nose, ears, and skin. These appointments allow us to create a baseline of your pet’s health, so we’ll know when anything changes. Over time, we’ll make sure your pet’s healthcare and overall needs are being met as they age and go through lifestyle changes.
These appointments also allow us to go over anything you’ve noticed at home that may pertain to your pet’s health. We can discuss everything from diet and exercise to behavioral issues or anything else you may be wondering about.
We’ll also work to make sure that your pet is staying up-to-date on vaccines, preventive medicine, and any other supplements they may need to live life to the fullest.
We typically recommend annual exams for dogs under the age of seven and semi-annual exams for senior pets.
